Loïc Couturier appointed Technical Director (CTO) of GreenIvory

Haguenau, France, May 5th, 2010. Loïc Couturier has been appointed as the technical director for GreenIvory as of March 1st, 2010. Loïc will support the management of GreenIvory's technical team which consists of ten people.

Loïc Couturier began his career as a web developer for several web agencies such as Galliot.com. He joined the ranks of GreenIvory early in our adventure in 2008. He has participated in the genesis of GreenIvory. The Greenteam at the time was composed of Jean-Georges Perrin and Loïc Couturier. Today GreenIvory has 16 team members divided into three departments (Technical, Commercial and Marketing).

Jean Georges Perrin reports: "Loic has been at my side since the beginning. He has evolved along with GreenIvory and gained experience. He has gradually grown into bigger responsibilities. He assisted me in many projects and demonstrated repeatedly a high level of professionalism and discretion. Naturally, I thought of him first when deciding the appointment of the technical director. "

Loïc Couturier has been GreenIvory's development engineer and architect of backend databases for the past 2 years. These experiences allow him to occupy his new role of manager with ease and efficiency.  

Loïc Couturier added: "I have long been the intermediary between the technical team and Jean-Georges. Members of the team came to me spontaneously when they needed information because I was there from the beginning. Jean-Georges has always trusted and respected my views. We communicate easily with each other."

ALL FRENCH, ALL TECH!

Some French companies specialized in new technologies like GreenIvory have the opprotunity to participate in the SF NewTech venue "Special French" to be held in San Francisco March 18, 2010 from 5.30pm to 11.00pm.

It appears as though Ignite Strasbourg has attracted emulation!  Salah Eddine Benzakour, who participated in Ignite Strasbourg, has organized Ignite Casablanca.

 
Casablanca is the first city in the Maghreb and in Africa to host Ignite.

Jean-Georges Perrin will travel to Casablanca for the occasion and will take the opportunity to make a small presentation.
Ignite will be held on the 2nd of March 2010 at 27 Bd. Zerktouni in Casablanca. This event is part of the global Ignite week which runs from the 1st to the 5th of March all around the world.

A small reminder for those who have not been following along:

We expect to see you all at 6PM on February 9th, 2010 at La Maison de L'Entreprise of the European Enterprise (E2) Schiltigheim. Jean-Georges will be the "ringmaster" for the evening, which promises to be fun and full of surprises!

The schedule and rules remain the same: you have up to five minutes to show us your stuff!  The presentations will be completely automated: 20 slides maximum (15 seconds per slide).  We will be viewing 17 new submissions!

After the success of the first time it was only natural to repeat the experience.

This time, Ignite will take place at the Business House of the European Business Building (E3) in Schiltigheim.  The evening will begin at 6PM like last time.  Once again you may submit your own presentations but there aren't many spaces left so don't delay.  Jean-Georges Perrin, founder of GreenIvory, will again be the host of the evening as well as its organizer.

GreenIvory participates in Copenhagen in its own way

GreenIvory has decided to set up sites dedicated to the United Nations conference on climate change which will take place from December 7th through December 18th, 2009.  

These sites, www.sommet-copenhague.fr and www.copenhagen-convention.com , are going to allow you  to follow the current events of the summit in English or in French. And just to keep them from being jealous, a German site is soon to come...

We just got back from the Mediterranean IT conference in Casablanca , and GreenIvory is already preparing for another event, Ignite Strasbourg.  Ignite Strasbourg is a celebration of innovation in the form of quick, back to back presentations without the long speeches... a great occasion to demonstrate that Alsace is a dynamic and innovative region. 
The meeting takes place starting at 6PM on Thursday, November 26th, in the Salamander.

GreenIvory will participate in the first International Salon on Information Technology in Morocco from November 3rd to the 5th.  

A professional salon with a Mediterranean focus, it will take place over three days and will feature 150 expositions from Mediterranean countries (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, France, Italy, Spain).

More than 3000 visitors are expected to attend this event at Casablanca's Office of Change.

We will take this opportunity to show our Mediterranean friends how our product line can improve their communications on the web.  As you know, MashupXFeed can double the effectiveness of a website and VoiceObserver can master one's reputation on the internet.
